Everyone needs a message board to organize life, what's better than a customizable DIY vintage window message board? This DIY is super easy and can go with any style.

Vintage Window Message Board Supplies:

Here's what you'll need to gather:
Step One:
Choose any combination of two metal sheets, they all look great together! There are so many to choose from. Check out some more examples of combinations below.

Step Two:
Now its time to secure the metal sheets into the 2 pane window. This is super easy with the glaze points that come with the 2 pane window. You will need 4-6 glaze points per metal sheet.

Step Three:
The final step is to attach the hangers that come with the 2 pane window. First decide if you would like your message board to hang vertically or horizontally. Then decide on placement of the hangers, they should be somewhere towards the outside edge. Its a good idea to make sure they are evenly placed, which makes hanging it much easier.
Use a small screw driver and the included screws to attach the hanger.

Finished!

Now you have a cute place to corral all of those messages, lists, appointments, and even a photo or two! Check out some more combinations of metal sheets and ideas below.

TIP:
You can achieve an antique look by dipping a brush in the color of your choice and lightly dry brushing it onto the frame before attaching the metal sheets. If you paint on a little too much, simply use sand paper to lightly sand away some paint once its dried. I love how this turquoise contrasts beautifully with the weathered wood showing through.
